Garlic Melting Potato Fondants

Ingredients

  • 1 box Nando’s PERi-PERi Bag & Bake (Garlic Flavour)
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 200ml vegetable stock
  • 6 green olives, sliced
  • 30g finely grated hard cheese
  • handful of fresh sage
  • salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 190 °C.

Slice the ends off the potatoes. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. When hot, add the potatoes cut-side down.

Fry for 5 - 7 minutes, or until deep golden brown, then flip and fry on the other side. Add the butter to the pan to melt.

Mix all the ingredients and the Bag & Bake spice sachet with the vegetable stock and pour into the bag. Fold the bag at the top and place on a baking tray in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes.

Remove the melting potatoes from the bag, spoon over the sauce, olives and sage leaves. Top with finely grated cheese before serving.
